Constructed of luxurious, lightweight silk, these gloves reach just above the elbow and will elevate any period gown. Knit gloves such as these became popular in the late part of the 18th and early part of the 19th century. Gloves in this style have been found in silk and linen, though silk like this is better for warmth and for elevation of status.
These will take a dye well, though we do not cover dying errors under warranty.
